Our Mission

The Woodland Hills Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit community recreational and competitive youth soccer organization.  We are focused on the personal growth and development of each player by creating a fun and positive learning environment for both the player and family.  

WHYSA seeks to provide as many youths as possible in the Woodland Hills School District and surrounding areas with non-pressured fun and entertainment through the game of soccer.  Fundamentals of the game and good sportsmanship are taught.  Winning is considered an unemphasized byproduct of this process.

Creating players for life and developing champions of character.  

Our Values

Our philosophy is to foster a player-centered environment that develops young players.  We seek to develop basic soccer skills, good sportsmanship, and knowledge of the sport.  Winning is a byproduct of our work with the kids, not the driving force of our organization.  We teach the game, give our kids the opportunity to play and grow, and provide a job through our referee training program if desired.

Our goal is to develop the player, grow the organization, and keep it accessible for our families and those in the surrounding community.  We measure our success not in wins, but in how many athletes return to the club year after year.
